Here is a brief outline of the general sequence of topics covered for both private tuition and the formal year-long training programs. If you have experience, you can jump in at an appropriate level for your skills and interests. Otherwise, it’s best to start with the Foundations course.

Please refer to the Contact menu item labeled Workshops and Training Programs for further details. The Workshops page will give you a much clearer understanding of the traditions that Neidan Yoga draws from. And, you will have a clear view of the brilliant possibilities that Neidan Yoga offers you through its integration of three great yogic streams and time-honored Jyotiṣa (Vedic astrology) with modern science and modern sensibilities.

foundations of daoist, hindu and tibetan yoga

A one-year training program. This introduces essential heart and energy practices from the Daoist (Chinese), Hindu and Tibetan yoga traditions. These foundational techniques and ideas underpin a genuine practice of Neidan yoga and must be developed to a level of basic competence. Only then can one safely and successfully progress to more challenging and fruitful methods of concentration, devotion and energy work.

This course is Level 1 of Neidan yoga. Please note that each level of the Neidan yoga training program is a prerequisite for the next level.

daoist yoga: Qigong (weigong) and neigong

Two three-year training programs. Each provides needed essential theory but focuses mainly upon hands-on practical development of spiritual qualities and energy capabilities. Level 2, Weigong, cultivates qi on the surface and just around the body. Level 3, Neigong, furthers this skill by developing qi flows within the body and linking them to the qi flows already developed in Level 2 training.

These courses are Levels 2 and 3 of Neidan yoga.

daoist yoga: neidan (inner alchemy)

A three-year training program. This provides needed essential theory but focuses mainly upon hands-on practical development of spiritual qualities and energy capabilities.

This course is Level 4 of Neidan yoga.
